The nicotine vaccine doesn't exist yet, but may be discovered at some point in the future. The idea is that it will block receptors in the brain so that nicotine has no effect. If someone creates a safe nicotine vaccine then smoking is likely to become a thing of the past, but unfortunately we're a long way from that yet.
