Cytisine is a pill that helps you stop smoking. It works in a similar way to Champix, by blocking nicotine from reaching the recptors in your brain and reducing your cravings for a cigarette.

Cytisine is taken for four weeks, beginning the week before your quit date. At first you take six pills each day and then slowly reduce your dose to one pill (the pills are quite small).
